Property and land purchase costs

Property and land purchase costs are calculated as a percentage of the overall value of the property. These are as follows:

1% is awarded to the buyer's lawyer for being present at time of the sale (exchange of deeds).

2.2% in public notary fees. These include land registration office fees.

Land transfer tax fees are calculated as follows. The first 30,000 euros is taxed at 7% and the remainder is taxed at 9%.

2% in estate agency fees.

Translation during the reading and exhange of deeds attracts a flat fee of around 50 euros.
